Erupting brightly and never before witnessed.

Hunted down with bestial ferocity.

The gift denied. Shedding serenity.

Primal bromide over clarity.

In eyes of glacial azure despair

Hope had fled and will now only blankly stare.

In ragged, shallow breaths and without a care

The Signal

This vast, hollow darkness imprisons me.

I can barely breathe. Move along, there is nothing to see here.

The past is not what you think looking back over centuries.

I have witnessed atrocity to protect your fear.

The unknown, pitch-black canvas that's been wrapped around us is only a veil.

Attempting to cover all manner of horror from ourselves.

And I have seen what lies beneath our known reality.

Coalescing obscurity. Bewildering to behold.

There is madness within.

Constant resonant impetus

Calling us back into primal descent.

Don't think. fight. flight. eat. sleep. kill. rape. breed.

I ran through the darkness only to witness

That the opalescence was far more devious.

I would sooner take the nothingness

Over unrelenting static transmissions

Leading us into temporal shift.

Eons cascade into the abyss.

The impending descent.
